The short version
- This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser's local storage and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising.
- Every file of the site comes from www.esocore.com. We load no fonts, scripts, videos, maps or social media plugins from other servers.
- The site has no contact form, no login and no newsletter.
- We process personal data only to deliver the pages to you (hosting at Cloudflare) and to answer you if you write to us by email.
- We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
What information we collect and why
Information from website browsers
The website runs on Cloudflare Workers, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Every page you open is a request to Cloudflare's network, which necessarily processes:
- your IP address,
- date and time of the request,
- the address requested, the HTTP method and the response status,
- the request headers your browser sends, such as browser type and version (user agent), preferred language and the referring page,
- the approximate location Cloudflare derives from the IP address (for example country and city) and technical connection data.
Why: to deliver the website to you, to protect it against attacks and misuse, and to find and fix errors. We do not use this data to identify you, build profiles or measure reach, and we do not combine it with other data.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a website that can be delivered securely and reliably.
Retention: Cloudflare keeps a log of the requests to this website (Workers Logs) that contains the data listed above. It is deleted automatically after seven days at the latest.
Cookies and information on your device
This website does not store cookies or any other information on your device and does not read information from it (§ 25 TDDDG), so it asks for no consent. The search on the documentation pages loads its index from www.esocore.com and runs in your browser; your search terms are not sent to us or anyone else.
Links to other websites
Links to GitHub, newmatik.com and other sites are plain links. Nothing is sent to those sites until you follow a link; after that, their own privacy notices apply.
Contacting us by email
If you write to one of the email addresses on this website, we process your email address, your name if you give it, the content of your message and the technical data of the email, in order to answer you.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your message concerns a contract with us or steps before one; otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Service providers: our email is received and stored by Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). Messages to service@newmatik.com are handled in our customer service system Help Scout (Help Scout PBC, Boston, USA).
Retention: we delete your message when your request is settled, unless commercial or tax law requires us to keep it as business correspondence (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO; generally six to ten years).
Processors and transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare, Microsoft and Help Scout process the data described above on our behalf under data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR). Cloudflare delivers the website from its worldwide network, so connection data can also be processed in the United States and other countries outside the EU. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers to it rest on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR). Where data reaches a country without an adequacy decision, or a provider that is not certified, the transfer rests on the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR) in the provider's data processing agreement. You can request a copy of these safeguards at service@newmatik.com.
Your rights under the GDPR
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
- have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR),
- have processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR),
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR, see below),
- lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
Right to object: where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We then stop, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves legal claims.
To exercise your rights, email service@newmatik.com or write to the address above.
The supervisory authority for Newmatik GmbH is: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany, www.datenschutz.rlp.de. You can also complain to the authority in the EU member state where you live or work.
Further information
You do not have to provide any personal data. Without the connection data, however, the website cannot be delivered to you. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
We update this notice when the website or the law changes. The current version is always on this page.
